Jenny, Office Manager
Patients who have been with Dr. Chris for many years may remember Jenny. She worked as his assistant for over a decade and now serves as our office manager. In total, she has over 25 years of dentistry experience. At Pioneer Greens Dentistry, she appreciates getting to work with a fantastic team every day that does everything it can for our loyal patients.
Jenny is married and has one daughter and son. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, being outside, and watching her children’s sporting events. An interesting fact about Jenny is that she has six brothers and four sisters, all of whom also have names that start with J!
Lori, Scheduling Coordinator
Whenever you call to make an appointment at Pioneer Greens Dentistry, you’ll likely speak with Lori. She is a perfect fit for our dental office because she loves interacting with our patients every day and working with our outstanding team. Lori comes from Hastings, NE and studied at Hastings Community College.
She and her husband, Craig, have been married for over 35 years. She is a mother of two and became a first-time grandmother in 2018. She now has three adorable grandsons! In addition to spending time with her family as often as possible, she likes to golf with her husband and walk her yellow lab, Bella.
Julie, Dental Hygienist
Julie has been in the dental profession for more than 30 years, has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and is certified in CPR as well as local anesthesia. She consistently attends continuing education courses in order to expand her skillset. Her favorite part about coming to work every day is helping the doctors provide high-quality dentistry in a comfortable atmosphere that patients love. When not at work, she likes to spend time with her husband Ken, gardening, exercising, and playing with her 7 grandchildren.

Emily, Dental Hygienist
Originating from Horton, KS, Emily finds it extremely fulfilling to help patients love their smiles again. Not only is she a joy around the office, but she’s also an incredible asset to the team. You’ll typically find her engaging with our patients as well as helping Dr. Shirk during procedures. She studied at Southeast Community College, graduated with her certification in dental assisting, and has been enjoying every minute of her work ever since.
Emily grew up in a big family with three brothers and four sisters, so she knows what it’s like to be part of a caring and driven team. Other than treating smiles, she loves attending concerts, cooking, online shopping, and hanging out with friends and family. One fun fact about her: she’s currently teaching herself how to play the guitar!
